Aug. 28th, 2009 12:53 pmI'm so happy, kiddos! Today I went to renew my registration and while I was at it I got new breast cancer awareness license plates! There's another $25 for the Susan Komen foundation!
Oh, so many of you are new, so I'll give a little story before I pop out to go to the museum with Crystal:
My lovely grammie, great aunt, and my aunt have all battled breast cancer. My chances of getting it are pretty good and I've already had a few scares. Over the past several years of my life I've always made a point of buying awareness products when I needed them to donate money to research. That way one day no one will ever have to worry about their grammie, aunts, moms, or themselves! Of course, over the years I've gained QUITE the collection of breast cancer stuff (the other day I bought BCA Lean Cuisines!), including a tattoo on my left breast. Fight the good fight, ladies! Sponser the race in October!
